This exhibition is organized by the association Les Ateliers de l’Aiguillerie. It has been held since 1975 and takes place every year in the Jacobins Cloister in Saint-Sever, in the beautiful Landes department (40). This year, it will take place from August 8 to 16 from 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on August 15 and 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The cloister is a former convent founded in 1280 by Dominican monks, who came to be known as “Jacobins” in the 15th century. The church, the chapter house, and the refectory date back to that period. After the Wars of Religion, it was largely rebuilt in the late 17th and early 18th centuries, including the cloister and its upper gallery. It is the only complete convent complex in Aquitaine.
During this exhibition, there will be around forty exhibitors on hand to showcase our creations throughout the week—but above all, to give you a glimpse into how we work. In fact, over the course of the week, we’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate firsthand our expertise and how we work with the various materials at our disposal.
So you can find me and my fellow artisans once again this year at the St. Sever Craft Fair from August 8 to 16, 2026
We hope to see many of you there to discover our world and this beautiful region!
